Our go to pho restaurant is always Pho #79... but they closed so we decided to to Pho Flavor. The presentation is definitely nice and catchy with 3 stackable bowls... and the basil stems comes in a cute vase you can take home! The pho broth is on the sweeter side , but pretty good! We will definitely come back!

In an area dense with pho restaurants, there is a spot a friend recently introduced me to that joins the rank of noteworthy bookmarks - Pho Flavor in Fountain Valley (they have a location in Garden Grove; another is coming soon in Irvine). Pho Flavor is notable because it shines in many key categories: The restaurant has such an alluring, happening atmosphere about it. The interior design pays homage to its Vietnamese roots with monochromatic pictures of life in olden Vietnam along with traditional Indochine styling with wooden lattices and furnishings, but it does so with a sleek, minimalist contemporary sensibility. It's spacious with plenty of seating (about a dozen tables along the walls and a handful of bar counter seats). In terms of customer service, it's okay. Our waiter was straight to the point in our interactions. Their food presentation is striking and unique! Your choice of northern or southern style pho is served in a 3-tiered, stacked, ceramic bowl. The yin-yang shaped top layer contains an empty spot on one side (for whatever extra condiments, etc. that you need) and the classic hoisin and sriracha sauces on the other. The next layer holds all the accompaniments (bean sprouts, lime wedges, leafy herbs, and jalapeños slices). At the base, you have your delightfully fresh, steaming bowl of soup and noodles. The broth levels nicely between the fragrant aromatics and the heartier meat elements. Between the slices of tender brisket, chewy noodles, and your personalized dashes of accompaniments, each bite is bliss. Speaking of unique, each table also comes with jar of fresh basil! At first glance, I had thought it was simply table decor. You can directly pluck off as much basil leaves as you'd like to add to your pho. Taking it all together, these features created such a fantastic dining experience. I very much look forward to my next trip there! Don't forget to do your Yelp check-in for a free yogurt. It has an addictive soft serve texture but with that lovely tart, tangy yogurt taste. It's a superb closer to the meal.

LEVITATING NOODLES! STACKABLE PHO! This place is serving up some of the best AUTHENTIC Vietnamese food around, with a very trendy twist on presentation! So the pho is served in tiered containers, which I loved! Sauces on top, toppings in the middle, and pho on the bottom. You also have the choice between Northern or Southern style pho. Southern is usually the only style being served at pho restaurants, so we went with Northern, and I'm so happy we did! Aside from pho, we LOVED the egg rolls, Thai tea, shaken beef, and their unique dancing (levitating) noodles! Definitely recommend this place, SO FLAVORFUL and actually a really cool experience!

This place has been on my bookmark since they offer Northern and Southern pho and I haven't been able to try both at the same time to tell the difference in taste. You've probably seen them mention on social media too, because the pho comes in these 3 layers bowls - first being the soup and noodle base, 2nd being the beansprouts and veggie toppings, and 3rd layer being the hoisin and sriracha sauce. Pho here is good! We liked both the northern and southern style. My boyfriend and I both liked one or the other which worked out well when trying to finish each bowl lol. Overall, place is good but not sure if I'd go out of my way to come here again. Maybe if I wanted to re-try both flavors again.

Very delicious, I choose Southern but the broth is not sweet. The restaurant is clean and elegant decorated. I will come back and will try Northern Especially, you can take the pot of Basil home

I took my mom here for lunch today because as per usual, her request every time I ask her want she wants to eat is...pho lol. I ordered the pho brisket Southern style and my mom ordered the Northern style Pho Dac Biet. My overall ratings: The pho broth was a 10/10, presentation was also a 10/10, and the service was a 10/10. The owner made conversation with us and came up to our table and asked my mom how we like the food. I thought that was personable of her. I also have to mention that I gave this restaurant five stars because I like when Vietnamese restaurants are clean and have aesthetically pleasing interior decor. Pho Flavor is definitely worth coming back to and worth recommending to others!

My fiance and I got the Pho Tai Lan because I think this spot is known for their northern pho. It's basically thin slice ribeye meat that is fried before putting it in the pho. The broth and meat was flavorful, but I prefer the northern pho at Pho Thin. Food comes out fast! I think there's a promotion going on and the drinks are free!

This place is very delicious especially for Pho Ap Chao. Highly recommended. They also gave you the mint leaves bottle for free.
